This course will give you an introduction to teaching English as Another Language, a fundamental skill required for an international teacher.  Even if you're an experienced educator we recommend that you take this course to refresh your understanding and get some ideas for teaching your EAL students.

This course will introduce you to the ethical standards that govern our organisation.  It will help you to understand not only the laws and regulations that apply to us as a global organisation but what controls we have in place to ensure the highest standards of Ethical behaviour across NAE.

This course is part of our core courses suite which provide an introduction to Nord Anglia Education and the educational concepts that our are fundamental to our organisation.

Each of us has hundreds of interactions with other people everyday. But have you ever asked yourself if you are biased? In this course we'll ask you to reflect on the ways that you may be displaying unconscious bias and why this might happen. We'll also give you some actionable advice to combat unconscious bias and recognise situations where it is more likely to happen.

This course is part of our Core Learning suite that may be required learning by your school or office.

As a Nord Anglia Education educator, we know that you are passionate about education and want to continuously improve your teaching practice. Assessment for learning (AfL) is an approach that can be used to achieve this. 

This course will:

  • Guide you through the principles of assessment for learning in the context of international education.
  • Show you how to introduce assessment for learning effectively in your classroom. 

Be Ambitious will introduce you to the NAE Be Ambitious philosophy and the ideas and concepts that support it.  It will help you to understand how each department, school and region in NAE can be ambitious for our staff and our students.
